British Council
The British Council’s Film department links UK films and filmmakers and new international audiences, working with our global network in over 100 countries. We profile the innovation, diversity, creativity and excellence of UK films around the world, particularly by staging selector screenings for the world’s premier international film festivals, and look for opportunities for creative exchange between UK filmmakers and international counterparts.

The British Film Commission (BFC) is the UK Government’s national organisation responsible for international film and television production in the UK. With offices in the UK and the USA, we provide free, tailored production support at the highest level, from the earliest stages of development through to post-production, including guidance on the UK’s competitive film and television tax reliefs and assistance with sourcing key crew, studios, facilities and locations.

Anna Mansi | Director of Video Games & Certification | BFI
Book a session with Anna to discuss the UK’s Audio-Visual Expenditure Credits (AVEC) and the Enhanced AVEC (IFTC). Anna can provide advice and guidance on the qualifying criteria for the AVEC and the IFTC including the Cultural Test and the UK’s co-production treaties. The Certification Unit at the BFI is the first point of contact for producers and production companies wishing to qualify in order to claim the UK’s expenditure credits.
