Cannes 2026: UK films and co-productions
The 79th Cannes Film Festival has revealed its line-up. Clio Barnard's latest feature, I See Building Fall Like Lightning has been selected at Director's Fortnight, alongside co-production La Libertad Doble from Lisandro Alonso and a range of short films.
We're excited to see UK co-production The End of It, from debut director Maria Martinez Bayona, announced as a Cannes Premiere, as well as UK documentary, Cantona, selected as a Special Screening.
UK short films have shown up strong in the Shorts Competition and La Cinef strands, alongside a fantastic range of 3 UK works selected in the Cannes Immersive Competition.
