This BAFTA-nominated feature hosts a range of impressive UK talent from Stuart Earl’s tender music composition to London-born Dominic Buchanan’s producing prowess. All the performances are remarkable, but Brit Ben Whishaw is standout, delivering a subtle, moving and delicate performance as the bereft Richard.

Richard (Ben Whishaw) hires a translator to facilitate communication between elderly Cambodian-Chinese woman Junn (Cheng Pei-pei), and her love interest (Peter Bowles). However, he also desperately hopes to connect with her himself, as we discover she’s the mother of his recently passed partner, Kai (Andrew Leung).
