Produced by London-based Free Turn and directed by Belfast-born BAFTA winner Nick Hamm, this big-hearted odd-couple comedy combines cuteness with genuine heart-string-tugging emotion. There are moving performances from the entire cast, but the MVP is surely Kasey the capuchin monkey who carries the weight of this emotionally-weighty story on her tiny shoulders.

An adventure-seeking trip for soon-to-be college student Nate Gibson (Charlie Rowe) turns into a life-changing event after an accident leaves him quadriplegic. Unsure of how to best support her son, Claire (Marcia Gay Harden) requests a service animal and the one that arrives has an impact that no-one could’ve predicted.
