British-Jordanian filmmaker Naji Abu Nowar delivers a startingly assured debut feature as writer-director, with Brit Robert Lloyd on board as co-producer. This Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning drama is observed from a child’s perspective, led by a wonderfully expressive performance from Jacir Eid Al-Hwietat, with support from the UK's Jack Fox. Co-produced by London-based Noor Pictures.

In 1916, a young boy Theeb (Jacir Eid Al-Hwietat), who resides in a Bedouin encampment, becomes intrigued by a blonde-haired, blue-eyed Englishman (Jack Fox). Theeb tags along for the adventure when his brother has to transport the man across the desert.
