The Railway Children Return

This charming and creative tribute to the treasured 1970 family adventure is directed by BAFTA Award-winning British director Morgan Matthews and co-written by UK producer Jemma Rodgers. A wealth of British acting talent are represented, including Jenny Agutter (reprising her role as Bobbie), Tom Courtenay and Sheridan Smith. Produced by StudioCanal UK.

In 1944, three evacuee children - Lily (Beau Gadsdon), Pattie (Eden Hamilton) and Ted (Zac Cudby) - are sent by their mother from Manchester to the Yorkshire village of Oakworth. After being picked up by Bobbie Waterbury (Jenny Agutter), her daughter, Annie (Sheridan Smith), and grandson Thomas (Austin Haynes), the children soon discover injured American soldier Abe (KJ Aikens), as they embark on a dangerous mission to assist him.
