Synopsis

In 1944, three evacuee children - Lily (Beau Gadsdon), Pattie (Eden Hamilton) and Ted (Zac Cudby) - are sent by their mother from Manchester to the Yorkshire village of Oakworth. After being picked up by Bobbie Waterbury (Jenny Agutter), her daughter, Annie (Sheridan Smith), and grandson Thomas (Austin Haynes), the children soon discover injured American soldier Abe (KJ Aikens), as they embark on a dangerous mission to assist him.
