The Full Monty

Brit Simon Beaufoy (writer of the original film) teams up with UK screenwriter Alice Nutter to deliver this comedic but heartfelt sequel series about the power of community. Returning to Sheffield, the characters grapple with their place in an atomised society as they deal with an ever-diminishing welfare state. Co-produced by the UK’s Little Island Productions.

Synopsis

The original gang are reunited as Gaz (Robert Carlyle), Dave (Mark Addy), Guy (Hugo Speer), Horse (Paul Barber), Lomper (Steve Huison), Nathan (Wim Snape) and Gerald (Tom Wilkinson) negotiate the post-industrial landscape of Sheffield. No longer stripping for money, they try to find their place in modern-day, working-class Britain.
