A grainy still of a group of men sitting out the back of a van with its doors open

Written by British screenwriter Alan Bleasdale, and directed by British filmmaker Jim Goddard, this feature length television drama is compassionate and muted, without shying away from life’s hard knocks. UK actors Bernard Hill, Michael Angelis and Alan Igbon bring to life Bleasdale’s honest writing, and provide effortless humour between the characters. Produced by BBC Manchester.
