Mrs Harris (Lesley Manville), a widowed and hard-working cleaning lady in 1950’s London, becomes deeply enamoured with the idea of owning her own Dior dress. After trying to raise funds through any means possible, she journeys to Paris in a bid to make her dream a reality.
