Synopsis
When ten-year-old Sophie (Ruby Barnhill) meets the Big Friendly Giant (Mark Rylance), she is initially frightened, before realising the twenty-four-foot giant is a kind and gentle soul. Realising Sophie’s presence attracts the unwelcome attention of giants such as Bloodbottler (Bill Hader) and Fleshlumpeater (Jermaine Clement), both she and the BFG must travel to London to convince Queen Victoria to help them banish the evil behemoths.
