The Aftermath

British actress Keira Knightley returns to the period drama, and to her very best, in this tragic, Atonement-esque tale of resentment, betrayal and new possibilities. British director James Kent films postwar Germany with glamour and intrigue, and the chilly atmosphere - both inside and outside the house - gives way to a decadent, swooning love story.
