British writer-director Alice Lowe lends her off-kilter comedic skills to this macabre revenge comedy which takes a stab at illustrating all the ways that impending motherhood can mess with you. Lowe laid down the gauntlet for what low-budget genre cinema could do, and no doubt paved the way for the likes of Censor and Saint Maud.
