Synopsis
This raw and uncompromising drama follows the turbulent life of Maggie (Crissy Rock) who, trapped in a hopelessly vicious cycle of abuse and poverty, loses four of her children to social services. After meeting the kind-hearted Paraguayan refugee Jorge (Vladimir Vega) who offers the promise of greater stability, the couple fight to keep their baby after Maggie becomes pregnant again.
