Brian and Charles

What begins as a mockumentary in which Brian, played by British comedian David Earl, gives us a tour of his inventions pantry, soon ascends into a moving, and endlessly funny treatise on loneliness, adventure and friendship. Directed by British filmmaker Jim Archer, this bonkers comedy has the potential to become a beloved British classic.

Synopsis

Lonely inventor Brian spends his days in rural Wales making strange contraptions and gadgets (pine cone bag, egg belt). One day, using a washing machine and various spare parts, he invents Charles, a robot with a penchant for cabbages and dancing. But not everyone in the village warms to its newest resident.
