British screenwriter Nick Walker brings his police procedural back for a second riveting series. Led by UK actor Nicola Walker, this season slightly shifts focus from the weekly crime of the first season onto her interpersonal relationships. With support from UK actors Jamie Sives and Paul McGann, the series was co-produced by Glasgow-based Black Camel Pictures and Creative Scotland.

Synopsis
Detective Inspector Annika Strandhed returns to Glasgow's Marine Homicide Unit to investigate the unexplained murders that occur in Scotland’s waters. Between work and spending time with her daughter (Silvie Furneaux), Annika begins to spend more time with long-term friend and co-worker Michael (Jamie Sives) as well as her on-again-off-again love interest Jake (Paul McGann).
