Synopsis

Rose (Vanessa Redgrave) has been living in a soon-to-be-demolished mental health hospital for fifty years when she’s visited by a psychiatrist (Eric Bana) who shows an interest in her diary. Triggering flashbacks of her youth (young Rose played by Rooney Mara), we explore the circumstances that led her to where she is today.
