Amateur historian Philippa Langley (Sally Hawkins), frustrated by her job and looking for an outlet, spearheads a search for the remains of King Richard III. Despite the scepticism and misogyny of the academic community, and the bemusement of her family, Phillippa pursues her gut instincts, with a little help from Richard (Harry Lloyd) himself to make a staggering discovery.
