Steve Jobs

Fast-paced, frenetic and yet finely-tuned, British director Danny Boyle reinvents the biopic with a triptych-structured portrait of Steve Jobs that manages to be both epic and intimate. The performances are all perfectly-pitched (Irish actor Michael Fassbender and the UK’s Kate Winslet especially) and Aaron Sorkin’s script is as smart and scintillating as you’d expect.

Set backstage during three of Apple’s iconic product launches - the Macintosh in 1984, the NeXT Cube in 1988 and the iMac in 1998 - this is the story of a digital revolution and the man responsible for it: Steve Jobs (Michael Fassbender).
