Based on the novel by Brian Catling, Earwig tells the story of Albert (Paul Hilton), a man employed as guardian to Mia (Romane Hemelaers), a young girl cloistered in a creaky old house, who must have her dental prosthetics made of ice changed daily. Each day the telephone rings enquiring as to Mia’s health. Until one day Albert is informed that he must prepare the child for her departure…
