Directed and co-written by comedy veteran Peter Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber), this offbeat comedy is about three friends devising an outlandish scheme. With enjoyably comic performances from its lead actors Zac Efron (The Iron Claw), Jermaine Fowler (Sorry To Bother You) and Andrew Santino (Beef), the film was co-produced by UK companies Farrelly Films and Rocket Science.

Synopsis

Twenty years after creating an imaginary friend, Dean (Zac Efron), JT (Andrew Santino), and Wes (Jermaine Fowler) still use the nonexistent Ricky Stanicky as a cover for their poor behaviour. When their suspecting partners finally demand to meet the mythical Mr. Stanicky, the trio decide to hire down-on-his-luck celebrity impersonator "Rock Hard" Rod (John Cena) to enact him, but when Rod takes the role too far, they begin to regret their decisions.
