Directed by Belfast-born Nick Hamm, this bold biographical film tells the unlikely story of an FBI informant and the designer of the now-famous DeLorean car, as they become embroiled in a drug sting operation. Adapted to screen by Northern Irish screenwriter Colin Bateman and Alejandro Carpio, the film is co-produced by Skipton-based Tempo Productions and Greenroom Entertainment.

Synopsis

In late 1970s California, drug-runner and FBI informant Jim Hoffman (Jason Sudeikis) is neighbours with automobile entrepreneur John DeLorean (Lee Pace). Struggling to sell the car he designed - produced in Northern Ireland with financial aid from the British government - DeLorean accepts a dubious deal from Hoffman to profit from cocaine trafficking.
