Downton Abbey

With six series running from 2010-2015, this beloved Golden Globe- and BAFTA-winning show offers an enjoyably fantastical portrayal of Britain. Created by British screenwriter Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park), it features a remarkable ensemble cast of British actors including Hugh Bonneville, Maggie Smith, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery and Matthew Goode. Co-produced by London-based Carnival Film & Television.

From 1912-1926, follow the lives of the Crawley family and its servants in their Georgian country house. Including significant events of the time, such as the 1912 sinking of the Titanic, we see the effects these occurrences have on their lives and the British class system.
