British actor Romola Garai is perhaps best known for period dramas Atonement, Suffragette, The Hour. Which makes it all the more shocking and deliciously deranged that her directorial debut is an intensely creepy chamber horror about a mouldy house and the dangers that lurk within, impressively designed by an almost all-female creative team.





Former soldier Tomaz (Alec Secareanu) returns from a war-torn country and finds refuge in a decaying house, shared by a strange young woman (Carla Juri) and her dying mother. As he begins to develop feelings for Magda, he increasingly believes there is something more sinister living alongside them.
