Croatian-born, London-based filmmaker Daina Oniunas-Pusić offers up a remarkable feature debut as writer-director in this bold and ambitious drama. Nominated for the BFI London Film Festival's Sutherland Award, the film features outstanding performances from British actors Leah Harvey and Arinze Kene, as well as Northern Ireland’s Lola Petticrew. A mother (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and her teenage daughter (Lola Petticrew) are forced to confront Death (Arinze Kene), who arrives in the form of a talking bird. A moving story about accepting loss and remaining resilient in the face of adversity.
