Directed and co-written by UK filmmaker Shane Meadows, along with British co-writer Jack Thorne, this series is the second of two television sequels following on from Meadows’ original film. British cinematographer Danny Cohen captures the excellent performances from British actors Vicky McClure, Thomas Turgoose, Joseph Gilgun, Andrew Ellis and Andrew Shim. Synopsis
With Woody (Joseph Gilgun) and Lol (Vicky McClure) separated, Woody finds himself drifting into a more middle-class life while Lol struggles with being a single mother. Meanwhile, Shaun (Thomas Turgoose) has enrolled at drama school.
