The Stone Roses: Made of Stone

British filmmaker Shane Meadows (This Is England) directs this warm, energetic and well-constructed homage to The Stone Roses. Shot by British cinematographer Laurie Rose, the music documentary is split into three compelling acts, documenting the live performances as well as the behind-the-scenes ruptures and animosities. Produced by the UK’s Mark Herbert at London- and Sheffield-based Warp Films.
