Synopsis

In the African American neighborhood of Sag Harbor in New York state, Charles Blakey (Corey Hawkins) is on the verge of losing his ancestral home and in desperate need of money. When mysterious white businessman, Anniston Bennet (Willem Dafoe), knocks on his door offering $50,000 to rent his basement for the summer, Charles feels he has no choice but to agree.
