Directed, adapted and co-produced by French filmmaker Sylvain Chomet, this stunning animation is voiced by French actor Jean-Claude Donda and Scotland’s Eilidh Rankin. With a captivating original screenplay penned by French filmmaker Jacques Tati, the film was both Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated. Co-produced by UK-based companies Django Films and Ink.Digital.

Synopsis

A French illusionist (Jean-Claude Donda) travels to Scotland in the 1950s, where he performs in run-down pubs and restaurants. But when he meets Alice (Eilidh Rankin), who believes his powers are real, they travel to Edinburgh together for a performance.
