Synopsis

At the end of World War II in an Italian monastery, Laszlo de Almasy (Ralph Fiennes) - who was severely burned during a plane crash - is cared for by a nurse named Hana (Juliette Binoche). Through flashbacks he reveals his past, including a significant and fateful romance with an English woman (Kristin Scott Thomas).
