Synopsis

On the Pacific island of Saipan, Ireland’s football team prepare to compete in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. But after a heated disagreement erupts between Irish captain Roy Keane (Éanna Hardwicke) and English-born manager Mick McCarthy (Steve Coogan), Keane storms out of the training ground, forfeiting his place in the team.
