Old Boys

British director Toby MacDonald marks his impressive and distinctive directorial debut with this endearing romance story. Co-written by UK screenwriters Luke Ponte and Freddy Syborn, the film is brought to life by delightful performances, captured gorgeously by British cinematographer Nanu Segal. Co-produced by Film4, Momac Films, BFI Film Fund and WestEnd Films.

Set in a same-sex boarding school in 1980s Britain, awkward pupil Amberson (Alex Lawther) develops a crush on Agnes, the daughter (Pauline Etienne) of a visiting French teacher. As they rehearse for a production of Cyrano, the handsome and popular Winchester (Jonah Hauer-King) helps Amberson to win over his love.
