Written by British screenwriters Martine Brant and Peter Flannery, and directed by the UK’s Charles Martin, this compelling four-episode series hit British screens in 2014. Synopsis

Set during the 1680s, follow two parallel love stories: between Beth (Freya Mavor) and Abe (Jamie Dornan) in the UK, and Ned (Joe Dempsie) and Hope (Alice Englert) in America. During a time of religious tyranny in England, and British rule in the US, these four characters fight for freedom and justice.
