Directed by Japanese filmmaker Hyoe Yamamoto, and inspired by Shoji Takao’s book, this compelling documentary conveys a years-long quest for justice. Even with a determined female investigator on the case, answers remain unclear, opening up many curious questions about Lucie’s disappearance. With original music from Anne Nikitin and the UK’s Rob Manning, the film is co-produced by UK-based Blue Mill Studios.

Synopsis
In the summer of 2000, a young British woman called Lucie Blackman went missing in Tokyo, where she was working as a hostess at club Roppongi. With no answers forthcoming, her father escalates the case to British tabloids, as a complex and international investigation unfolds.
