Synopsis
Mourning his wife's sudden death, village blacksmith Balian (Orlando Bloom) joins his estranged father, Baron Godfrey (Liam Neeson), as they crusade to Jerusalem. After a fraught journey, the fearless young man joins the dissenting entourage of King Baldwin IV (Edward Norton), led by Guy de Lusignan (Marton Csokas), who plans to wage war against the Muslims for his own personal gain.
