British filmmaker Philippa Lowthorpe (Misbehaviour) directs and co-writes this engrossing adaptation of UK author Helen MacDonald’s memoir about losing her father. An intelligent script is brought to life by a fine cast that includes UK actors Claire Foy and Sam Spruell alongside Ireland’s Brendan Glesson and Denise Gough. Co-produced by London-based Film4 and Cardiff-based Good Gate Media.

Synopsis
