Fawlty Towers

Running from 1975-1979 over two seasons, this BAFTA-winning show was created by, and starred, the UK’s John Cleese and Connie Booth. While some of the show’s jokes have aged badly, it’s John Cleese’s visual gags that really make the comedy what it is. Featuring the UK’s Prunella Scales and Andrew Sachs, the calamitous comedy is produced by the BBC.
