Synopsis

Maud (Glenda Jackson), a grandmother in her 80s, finds her memory faltering at the hands of Alzheimer’s disease. One day, when her best friend Elizabeth (Maggie Steed) fails to show up as promised, Elizabeth suspects she has disappeared, triggering her own quickly disappearing memories about the mysterious loss of her elder sister Sukey, many decades ago.
