American screenwriter Will Tracy adapts the screenplay for this Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated satirical film, which boasts fantastic central performances from accomplished US actors Emma Stone and Jessie Plemons. Shot by Irish cinematographer Robbie Ryan, with a raucous orchestral score from British composer Jerskin Fendrix, the comedic sci-fi is co-produced by Dublin-based Element Pictures.

Synopsis
Beekeeper Teddy (Jessie Plemons) blames the honeybee population decline on a pharmaceutical company run by cold CEO, Michelle (Emma Stone). Increasingly going down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories, Teddy and his naive cousin (Aidan Delbis) set out to kidnap Michelle, believing that she’s an evil alien intent on destroying the planet.
