Directed and co-produced by Swiss-Austrian filmmaker Edward Berger (All Quiet on the Western Front), this high-stakes gambling drama features superb performances from Ireland’s Colin Farrell and the UK’s Tilda Swinton. Adapted by British screenwriter Rowan Joffe, the action is wonderfully captured by UK cinematographer James Friend. Co-produced by Good Chaos and London-based Stigma Films.

Synopsis

A professional gambler (Colin Farrell) racks up massive debts at a five-star hotel in Macau, known for being the Las Vegas of Asia. When he meets moneylender Dao Ming (Fala Chen), they form an unlikely bond which could save him from his destructive addiction.
