Artemis Fowl

Admired Northern Ireland-born actor and filmmaker Kenneth Branagh (Belfast) directs this playful adaptation of Eion Colfer’s best-selling novels. Ferdia Shaw wonderfully animates the rebellious Artemis, with support from prominent cast such as Colin Farrell. Scottish composer, and regular Branagh collaborator, Patrick Doyle, brings the action to life with his synth-laced score.

Synopsis

Artemis Fowl (Ferdia Shaw) is a young criminal mastermind whose plan to steal fairy gold ends up going awry as he finds himself in a dangerous world of magic and intrigue. With the help of his loyal bodyguard, Butler (Nonso Anozie), and a fairy named Holly Short (Lara McDonnell), Artemis must outwit his enemies and save the fairy civilisation from his own destructive scheme.
