Written and directed by Bristol-born animator Dave Borthwick, this enjoyably surreal film mixes pixilation technique - using frame-by-frame animation of live actors) - with regular model and clay animation. Scored by British instrumental jazz fusion band The Insects, and featuring the voices of British actors Nick Upton, Deborah Collard and Frank Passingham, the film is co-produced by BBC Bristol.

Synopsis

When a tiny boy called Tom Thumb is kidnapped by a genetic laboratory, he desperately tries to find a way back to his father. Along the way, he meets a plethora of strange creatures before stumbling upon a world of miniature humans just like himself.
