12-year-old Alex (Louis Ashbourne Serkis) is trying to settle in at this new school and avoid the bullies when he discovers the Excalibur sword at a construction site. The sorceress Morgana (Rebecca Ferguson), sensing trouble, sends her minions to collect it, forcing Alex to team up with Merlin the wizard (Angus Imrie) and his friends to fight back.
