London-born writer-director Charlotte Regan’s feature debut is full of spirit, humour and formal innovation. Winning the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival 2023, it’s a bold, playful and energetic piece of British working-class cinema, featuring palpable chemistry between UK actors Lola Campbell and Harris Dickinson. Co-produced by BBC, BFI, Great Point Media and Northern Ireland-based DMC Film.

Secretly living alone in a London flat after the passing of her mother, Georgie (Lola Campbell), an imaginative 12-year-old girl, makes money stealing bikes with her best friend Ali (Alin Uzun). After her estranged father Jason (Harris Dickinson) arrives out of the blue, they slowly begin to reconnect, adjust to their new circumstances and face the fact that they both still have some growing up to do.
