British filmmaker Duncan Jones directs and co-writes his accomplished, BAFTA-winning film with UK screenwriter Nathan Parker. With music from British composer Clint Mansell, and magnificently shot by UK cinematographer Gary Shaw, the film also contains a fine ensemble cast, including Ireland’s Dominique McElligott and the UK’s Kaya Scodelario. Co-produced by UK-based companies Independent Entertainment, Liberty Films Entertainment and Lunar Industries.

Synopsis
Astronaut Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is almost at the end of his three-year long mission on the moon, working with his computer GERTY (voiced by Kevin Spacey). When Sam’s health takes a sudden turn - causing him to experience agonising headaches and hallucinations - he has a near-fatal accident, bringing about a mysterious circumstance that he tries to get to the bottom of before returning to Earth.
