Synopsis

Five-year-old Saroo (Sunny Pawar) gets lost on a train and consequently separated from his home and family, having to learn to survive on his own before being taken in by an Australian couple (Nicole Kidman and David Wenham). Twenty-five-years later, he sets out to find the family he unwittingly left behind and make a return to his homeland.
