British author and illustrator Alice Oseman adapts her own graphic novel to screen, while UK filmmaker Wash Westmoreland competently directs. Compelling lead performances by Manx actor Joe Locke and the UK’s Kit Connor are supported by British actors Yasmin Finney and Anna Maxwell Martin. Shot by UK cinematographer James Rhodes, the drama is co-produced by London-based See-Saw Films.

Synopsis
Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) are wildly in love, but as Nick prepares to leave for university and Charlie finds more autonomy at school, doubts start to set in as they contemplate their soon-to-be long-distance relationship. Simultaneously, their friends navigate their own love-lives and friendships as they confront the challenges inherent in growing up.
