Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare

Part natural disaster, part man-made calamity, the tragic story of the nuclear accident in Fukushima is told via devastating interviews and never-seen-before footage. Grippingly constructed, the film is co-directed and produced by Japanese filmmaker Megumi Inman, with co-direction from the UK’s James Jones (Chernobyl - The Lost Tapes). Synopsis

In March 2011, a nuclear disaster occurred at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in Fukushima, Japan. Reconstructing the nine days following the accident, we see control-engineers in an impossible position, political leaders in chaos and innocent civilians caught in the crossfire.
