Winning four Oscars and two BAFTAs, Bryan Singer (and uncredited British director Dexter Fletcher) take an in-depth look at a widely-adored band. Co-written by screenwriter Peter Morgan, and with acting support from esteemed UK actors Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy and Lucy Boynton, the film was co-produced by GK Films and Queen Films Ltd.

Queen’s lead singer, Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek), goes against the grain to become one of history's most worshipped performers, with the band's distinctive sound leading them all to huge success in the 1970s. After leaving to pursue a solo career, Mercury reunites with Queen for Live Aid, giving one of the most famous performances in music history.
