Based on the book by famed British author George Orwell, this BAFTA-nominated 1954 animated film is co-directed, co-adapted and co-produced by the UK’s Joy Batchelor and John Halas. American actor Gordon Heath engrossingly narrates while the UK’s Maurice Denham voices all of the animals. Co-produced by Gloucestershire-based Halas & Batchelor.

Synopsis

On the farm of Mr. Jones (Maurice Denham), a group of animals meet to discuss their unfair treatment, with a pig called Old Major encouraging the tribe to rebel. Donkey Benjamin, Boxer the horse and pigs Snowball and Napoleon all agree, but when Old Major dies, corruption ensues as Napoleon schemes to take charge.
