Synopsis
From the 1970s to the early 2000s, Amsterdam quickly transformed from a counter-cultural haven into the drug capital of Europe. With harder drugs following the Dutch government’s initial tolerance of cannabis, organised crime and trafficking escalated as criminal activity quickly began to spiral out of control.
